Enjoy the ancient style in Keyan scenic area and Lu town --TUNA camp’s travel notes

    “What does this stone pillar look like?” “ a screw!” “ drumstick!” ” an ice-cream corn!” In Keyan scenic area, children of TUNA camp in unified white T-shirt were talking about all sorts of stones in odds shapes, with exciting and curious look on their little faces...

This is the first stop of TUNA camp. In spite of the hot weather, children’s mood of travelling was not affected at all.


                        Beautiful scenery along the way

    Inside Keyan scenic area, under the leadership of the tour guide, the little members stepped on the black flagstone, lost themselves in the picturesque scenery of mountains and lakes. Afterwards, they also passed their eyes over the historicheavenly stone Buddha, astonished at the world’s biggest ukraine hat and the extraordaniary shape of stone in oven column fine smoke, had a close view of Yue Dawn Spring Lake. The scenery shift with the movement of steps, which bring the children big visual feast. 


                Review the ancient town style in Luxun’s novel

   “Lu Town” is a virtual town in Luxun’s novel. It combines the folk customs in Shaoxing Water village, unique architecture style and beautiful landscapes. This visit present an epitome of Shaoxing hundred years ago and help children to playback the storyline they have previously read in the writer’s novel. When passed by Luxun ancestral hall, children encountered “Xanglin Anti” and “Mr.Q”, screaming and rushing to take a picture with the two characters. Afterwards, the scene where Mr.Q fought with the other and stood trial in the ancestral hall was performed for the little audiences, who were amused and burst into laughter by the funny vivid performance of the actors.



                Harmonious combination of learning and playing 

    Members of the camp are mainly non-local who are unfamiliar with Shaoxing and its ancient history and culture, so this camp is a meaningful extracurricular learning. As Wang Yuqing from Su City said: ‘I love this camp, i have a really good time and, moreover i got to witness the real scene in the novel. I shared all the interesting experience with my dad back home, instead of over the phone. I have a happy summer vocation.’
