TUNA summer camp sets off for a new journey

On 1st Augest,“TUNA Camp”sets off for a new journey. This time the journey destinated at Luxun’s home villiage where they not only visit Luxun’s home and also listened one health lecture.
First stop ---track the master’s footprint
Campers visited Luxun’s hometown and were affected by the environment where Master Luxun grew up. Walking along the book shelf, everybody headed for Sanwei study, trying to chase the fitful orotund tones of reading.
Inspired by the old-timey environment as in the novel, the little members also spontaneously impersonated”Luxun” to reproduce the scene, where teenager Luxun engrave “Early” on the wooded desk to remind himself of punctuality.
In the herbals garden, little campers personally verify the description in Luxun’s article,” verdurous vegetable bed, smooth stone well, lofty soap-bark tree, aubergine mulberry......”, and imagined how teenager Lunxun digs human-body-shaped polygonum multiflorum, merrily plays with cricket. Afterwards, the group visited Luxun Museum and had a special lesson by the guide of the different figures inmaster’s novels, which brought them a new understanding of the characters of figures.
Before the visit ended, the children left their remark on the message board. Zhang Jinyuan said:“Though i learned on the book, but one look is worth a thousand words.” Zhang Suohan said: “I like herbals garden, the stone well, the vegetable, we will meet next time!” The childish words expressed their fondness of Luxun’s home.

Inside the library in Yue District, Mrs.Zhou Xiaoying Section Chief of Shaoxing Stomatological Hospital, delivered a public lecture for the camperswith the theme of “ Making the oral cavity more healthy”
Firstly Mrs Zhou introduced some general knowledge of dental care with a cartoon named” Dental City”. Subsequently, she presented the dental model to carefully explain how to brush the teeth right, enrich the children’s knowledge of oral care and raised their awareness of oral care. Everybody listened attentively and several little campers went onto the stage and presented live performance on how to brush their teeth, which made the atmosphere lively.
After the lecture, Mrs. Shen Pingping, library curator, Mr.Sun Xiaofeng, secretary of Shaoxing Dental Hospital, Sister Moon, hostess from FM936 Sound of Shaoxing , together with the lecturer sent presents to the little campers, wishing all of them a fulfilled and happy summer holiday.
Unexpected present from thousand miles away
During this camp, we found many “big brothers” and “big sisters”, that is an elder child voluntarily made friend with a younger child as partner during the journey, offering help and taking care to the younger. They shared the intimacy like siblings, while they were actually from different provinces and got acquaintance of each other for the first time.
Wang Zirui from Zhejiang province and Han Xinglei from Henan province is such a pair of good bothers. Six-year-old Zirui participated TUNA Camp for the first time. Considering the summer heat, sixteen-year-old Han Xinglei played the role of “big brother” willingly, paying due attention to little Zirui along the journey, who totally won little Zirui’s admiration and respect. Teenage Xinglei, whose parents both woked in TUNA said:” this year’s summer holiday is not bad. Though i cann’t spend it with my parents, i spent it with many new friends instead. Such as Zirui, who trusts me a lot, i regard him as my younger brother. It is surely an unexpected present from thousand miles away.”
