Recently, EGCS system from TUNA’s subsidiary Shanghai TUNA Marine Environment Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TUNA Marine") obtained the principle certification by American Bureau of Shipping.
With the development of international shipping industry and ocean shipping, the exhaust emissions generated by marine combustion devices have become the main source of pollution in the world, especially in coastal areas and ports. International Marine Organization (IMO) demanded that fuel sulfur ratio of ships in globally operation should be reduced from 3.5% to 0.5% from Jan.1, 2020, and fuel sulfur ratio should be 0.1% below in sulphur emission control area. It is the most economical choice for large and medium-sized shipowners to install the wet waste gas desulfurization EGCS system for operating ships.
TUNA Marine, the subsidiary of Zhejiang TUNA Environmental Science & Technology Co.,Ltd.
